Dropbox: Ultimate Free And Secure Backup, Sync And Sharing Service

I love Dropbox. If you do not know, Dropbox is the best and free backup service that I have seen which is integrated with your computer for a rich desktop experience. Here is a quick guide and a complete review about Dropbox. Follow the simple steps below and you should be using this cool service in no time.

  1. First, go to the Dropbox site and sign up for a free account.
  2. Now go and download the Dropbox desktop softwares which are for all platforms: Windows, Mac and Linux.
  3. Start Syncing!! Just drop the files you want to sync to your Dropbox account online in the Dropbox folder on your computer and it should be synced almost instantly. So you can sync and backup your favorite music, movies, files and your system.

After using Dropbox for a long time, I found it to be really convenient and useful and is one backup, syncing and sharing system I use almost everyday. All you have to do is drag and drop the file and it will be uploaded to your Dropbox account and you can view it later. I hope that you found Dropbox useful as well. Let me know what you think of Dropbox or know any other cool services like Dropbox or get my blog updates by email or RSS!! 😀

  1. Thanks for your comment, I have added you to my blogroll. You have some fantastic tips on your blog. I’d never heard of dropbox before but will certainly give it a go. Quite a few other interesting tips also. Thanks, keep up the good work.

  2. Still, the thing is that your data can be viewed by the sysadmins at dropbox. I wonder if there is a way to seamlessly encrypt the files as well…
