New Gmail Feature: Never Miss Out On Any Email Contact Again

with 2 comments

Google has introduced a small but significant feature to its nifty email service, Gmail called “Suggest more recipients” which might proved useful to some Gmail users. Basically, Gmail now suggest to you some email contacts that you might want to include in your recipient list based on which contact you are sending your email to. [You might want to check out our other Gmail posts.]

gmail suggest

Here is what the Gmail blog has to say about this:

Once you’ve enabled it from the Labs tab under Settings, you’ll see suggested recipients while composing messages. Gmail will suggest people you might want to include based on the groups of people you email most often. So if you always email your mom, dad, and sister together, and you start composing a message to your mom and dad, Gmail will suggest adding your sister. Enter at least two recipients and any suggestions will show up like this:

This might seems a nifty feature and a quick shortcut for those who often send group-based emails and do not want to miss out on anybody especially if it is an important email. If you found this feature extremely useful, comment and let us know. We will be keeping tabs on more Gmail news so be sure to update here.

Ashton Kutcher Overtakes CNN On Twitter; First To Reach 1 Million Followers

with 3 comments

The race on Twitter has been intense and Ashton Kutcher has just overtake CNN and is the first Twitter user to claim 1 million followers. As of now, at the time of this post, Ashton has 1,108,724 followers while CNN has 1,040,885 followers and it seems like the gap between them will widen over time. This is pretty remarkable as Twitter continues to expand with more people joining as celebrities and other famous people joining Twitter tweet constantly and reach out to their followers with the latest tidbits of what they are doing and interact with their followers in the best and shortest way possible. We only hope Twitter will continue to get better and serves as a better form of communication between people.
